While our aim is to provide all the information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not centrally hold information on community payback orders (CPOs) at this level of geography. Local authority level figures on CPOs can be found at https://www2.gov.scot/Topics/Statistics/Browse/Crime-Justice/Datasets/SocialWork/CPOs.

Delivering CPOs is the responsibility of the relevant local authority. I would suggest that you contact [redacted], Justice Social Work Manager, North Lanarkshire Council [redacted] if you are looking to support individuals on CPOs in the area or those who are looking for voluntary throughcare support after their release from prison. Updated CPO practice guidance was published earlier this year which supports effective practice, includes a focus on breach and compliance, and reiterates the importance of successful completion.

You may also be aware that throughcare support is available on a national basis for short term prisoners (sentences up to four years) leaving prison through the New Routes and Shine Public Social Partnerships.
