What published research literature, NGO reports, expert panels and other sources of information were used by the Scottish Government to allocate the funding for Scottish Government’s training provision for the Domestic Abuse Bill/Act?

Response

As part of the Scottish Government's response to the Justice Committee’s Stage 1 Report of the Domestic Abuse (Scotland) Bill Michael Matheson MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Justice agreed with the Justice Committee recommendation: 116. The Committee recognises the importance of all those involved in the process of implementing the new offence, if and when it becomes law, receiving appropriate training, including the judiciary.
