You asked for information regarding the number of pupils over the last five years that transitioned from Notre Dame Primary School and Saint Ninians Primary School both in Glasgow, to the following High Schools -
Notre Dame High School
Saint Thomas Aquinas Secondary school
Hyndland Secondary
Hillhead Secondary
Cleveden Secondary
John Paul Academy
Saint Rochs High School

Response

The answer to your question is given in the table below. The table shows the number of P7 pupils from Notre Dame primary and Saint Ninians primary that were recorded in S1 in one of the specified secondary schools the following year. The ‘Other’ category includes pupils that were recorded in another publicly funded secondary school in Scotland, pupils in an independent secondary school in Scotland and pupils that moved outside Scotland for secondary school.

All the information in the table has been obtained from the annual pupil census which takes place in September. It is possible that a small number of pupils may have started the academic year in S1 at one of the specified schools but moved elsewhere before the September census.

Some of the information in the table has been suppressed (denoted by *) to protect against the risk of disclosure of personal information. To further protect against the risk of disclosure of personal information it is not possible to breakdown the information by pupil sex.
