Diversity of staff working in Education Scotland: FOI release

Information requested

I would like to enquire about the diversity of staff who work in Education Scotland. Previous FOI publications have stated that the current number of staff.

I would like to request information on the number or percentage of staff who fall within the following protected characteristics:

• Race
• Disability (just if they have one)
• Gender
• Religion

There were 333 directly employed staff in Education Scotland at 31/12/2019. Their self-disclosed diversity information was as follows (categories grouped to be as informative as possible while maintaining disclosure thresholds):
