1. School names and SEED codes:
You may find a list of all schools in Scotland (and their SEED code) online at: https://www2.gov.scot/Topics/Statistics/Browse/School-Education/Datasets/contactdetails. This list is provided by the Scottish Government. Section 25(1) of FOISA sets out that public bodies do not have to provide information that is otherwise accessible.
2. Latest inspection rating:
In your email of 21 August 2019, you clarified that you are seeking the latest rating for all schools on “Ensuring wellbeing, equality and inclusion". Quality Indicator (‘QI’) 3.1 of How Good Is Our School 4 (https://education.gov.scot/improvement/Documents/Frameworks_SelfEvaluation/FRWK2_NIHeditHGIOS/FRWK2_HGIOS4.pdf)
Attached is the list of schools which have been inspected using the QI 3.1 Ensuring wellbeing, equality and inclusion. The list is for all published inspection reports from August 2016 to 23 August 2019.
Inspection of educational establishments (early learning and childcare, primary, secondary and special schools) in Scotland is on a proportionate basis using a sampling based approach, not on an annual or cyclical basis. More information on the approach we use can be obtained on our website at: https://education.gov.scot/what-we-do/inspection-and-review/standards-and-evaluation-framework/07-how-often-do-we-inspect.
The Quality Indicator (QI 3.1) Ensuring wellbeing, equality and inclusion was introduced in August 2016 as part of the new inspection framework. More information on the inspection framework can be found at: https://education.gov.scot/improvement/self-evaluation/HGIOS4
