Information requested
You asked for an approximation of how many goats are in Scotland.
Response
The answer to your question is there are approximately 5,591 farmed goats in Scotland, at June 2018. Please note this value includes only farmed goats and not any wild goats.
The information you have requested is available from the results of the June Agricultural survey companion tables. The current estimate of goat numbers plus previous data for comparison is available on table 7.
