Information requested:

You asked for us to provide information in relation to support to Trans Pride Scotland in the last year, with cash or in other ways, including any support given indirectly through other bodies and what the Scottish Government’s plans are for the year ahead

Response:

The Scottish Government has no oversight regarding Pride arrangements and do not provide funding to Trans Pride Scotland. We recognise the particular disadvantage experienced by trans people across many walks of life, are supportive of all measures to increase inclusion and believe that Pride marches are a clear way to celebrate the progress made in progressing equality for LGBTI people in Scotland.
