You asked three questions concerning the delivery of Care at Home for Older People:
1. Total number of hours of care at home provided to older people in Scotland in the following years:

2. Breakdown of hours of care at home hours provided in Scotland to older people – That is, the number of service provision “slots” that fit into the following:

I enclose a copy of some of the information you have requested. The answer to your question 1 - Total number of hours of care at home provided to older people in Scotland in the years of 2015, 2016 and 2017.
This is available publically in the additional spreadsheet that accompanies the Social Care Survey, 2017 publication (https://www.gov.scot/publications/social-care-services-scotland-2017/). The specific information you have requested can be found in Tab 3 of the spreadsheet, “3. Older People (65+)”, second graph. For ease of reference these are:

Although your question asks for the total number of hours provided to older people in each local authority area, we do not hold this information however, as your overall questions are in relation to care at home for older people, this information is available publically. This can be found in the additional spreadsheet that accompanies the Social Care Survey, 2017 publication (https://www.gov.scot/publications/social-care-services-scotland-2017/). In relation to your question 2 - Breakdown of hours of care at home hours provided in Scotland to older people – That is, the number of service provision “slots” that fit into sections of time of care for up to 15 mins, 30 mins, 45 mins and 60 or more mins and providing the total hours for the years of 2015, 2016 and 2017.
Whilst our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have this information. However, you may wish to contact each individual local authority directly who may be able to assist you with this question.
The Scottish Government does not have the information you have asked for within question 2 because the Scottish Government does not hold this information centrally.
