Aberdeen Roads Limited subcontractors on Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route: EIR review

Information request and response under the Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004.
Further to my e-mail of 22 January, I have now completed my review of our response to your request under the Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004 (EIRs) for the following information regarding the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route.
- The name of the contractor appointed to install the ITS infrastructure;
- Confirmation of whether said contractor is Sector Scheme Approved;
- Confirmation of the contractual requirement to employ Sector Scheme Approved contractors for ITS infrastructure installation;
- Confirmation of how the procurement of said contractor was undertaken (i.e. is the ITS subcontractor employed by Transport Scotland or by the consortium awarded the AWPR package).
I have concluded that the original decision should be confirmed with modification. Having reviewed the original response I have concluded that in relation to question 1, you should have been advised that Pegasus Power and Communications were appointed to install the ITS infrastructure. This information was held by the Transport Scotland team with responsibility for ITS rather than the team directly involved with the construction of the AWPR and I apologise for this oversight.
