There has not been any correspondence or meetings between Scottish Ministers or Scottish Government officials and the UK Ministry of Defence regarding the award of contracts for ship maintenance at Inchgreen Dry Dock in Greenock.

Regarding your second point, copies of the relevant correspondence have been attached below. Please note that Keith Brown, former Cabinet Secretary for the Economy, Jobs and Fair Work, met with Save Inchgreen Drydock campaigners on the 29 May to accept a petition. At the meeting it was agreed that Mr Brown would meet with Peel Ports at a later date and, subsequently, report back to the campaigners on that meeting’s outcome. We are awaiting contact from Peel Ports to make the necessary arrangements.
