Is the Calum Macleod, a part author of the North West Mull Community Woodland
Company [business plan], the same Calum MacLeod that sits on the Scottish Land Fund
committee?

Calum Macleod (part author of the North West Mull Community Woodland Company
business plan), was a member of the Scottish Land Fund committee for one year from 1st
April 2016 to 31st March 2017.
Mr Macleod was not a member of the SLF Committee when the Scottish Land Fund’s
Management Group considered a formal Stage 1 application from North West Mull
Community Woodland Company in December 2017. NWMCWC’s Stage 1 application did
not involve any request for funding. The Scottish Land Fund Committee subsequently
considered and approved their application for Stage 2 funding in March 2018. He was
therefore not a member of the Committee at the time of either of the decisions made by the
SLF in relation to the North West Mull Community Woodland Company’s acquisition of Ulva.
