• Any new staff, including special advisers, brought to Transport Scotland by the new Cabinet Secretary, Michael Matheson, including their total salary and how this compares with the previous special advisers.

• The total number of special advisers current in Transport Scotland.

• Changes in the number of staff currently employed at the management level of Transport Scotland.

Response

• No new staff, including special advisers, have been brought to Transport Scotland by the new Cabinet Secretary, Michael Matheson.

• Transport Scotland do not employ any special advisers.

• There have been no changes to staff at a management level in Transport Scotland brought about by the change in Cabinet Secretary.
