Information requested

Regarding the First Minister's alternative accommodation during the works/repairs to Bute House:

1. Please give details of the legal firm used for the rental, and a breakdown of the legal fees for rental amounting to £3,873.

2. Please give details of the company employed to carry out the property search and valuation costs, amounting to £4,338, giving a breakdown of what this involved and the costs associated for each part.

Response

1. The legal fees were paid to Morton Fraser LLP, total fees for professional services were £3,873.60.

2. The Property Search was carried out by Rettie & Co at a cost of £2,160. The valuation service was provided by Valuation Office Agency at a cost of £2,178.34.
