Information requested
1. Convictions in Scotland in 2016-17 under s19, s20, s21, s22, s23, s24, and s29 of the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2006.
2. Number of proceedings and the number of convictions under s23 in 2016-17, broken down by local authority of the court (I don't believe there were any proceedings/convictions in 2015-16).
Response
1. The information is provided in the attached excel table. I have included 2015-16 financial year to update previously provided data.
2. There were no proceedings/convictions under S23 of the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2006 (where main crime) since 2011-12.
