John Swinney's diary and schedule for 4 July 2016, including records of phone calls, meetings and sent emails.

Response

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested. The reasons why we do not have the information are explained below.

As requested, please find enclosed a copy of the Deputy First Minister's diary, for Monday 4 July 2016, provided in Annex B. This includes a record of phone calls that took place on this date.

Reasons for not providing information

With regards to your request for the sent emails, the Scottish Government does not have the information you have asked for because Ministerial Offices routinely destroy records after 3 months, in accordance with our standard records management practice.

This is a formal notice under section 17 (1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested.
