Date responded: 21 November 2017
Information requested
"What the road markings were as of 10 December 2015 on the slip road from the Raith Interchange to join the M74 at junction 5."
This was then clarified as the lane markings on the southbound slip road.
Response
Scottish Roads Partnership (SRP), the contractor for the project, confirm that on 10 December 2015 traffic management was in place on the M74 southbound at the diverge from Raith Junction 5 reducing it to one lane from the Raith Roundabout to the slip road. The slip road then opened into two lanes before merging with the M74. Please find attached photograph in Annex A which depicts this layout.
