Information requested

Following up FOI-17-01477 relating to the USA trip, requesting the following:

1. Flights – first class/business class?

2. Did FM have no subsistence costs?

3. How many days?

4. Did her husband travel as well?

Response

1. The First Minister's flight itinerary was as follows:

• 2nd April – Glasgow to San Francisco via London Heathrow (Premium Economy)

• 4th April – San Francisco to JFK (Premium Economy)

• 7th April – Newark to Glasgow (Business Class)

The First Minister's engagements and travel information is routinely published on the Scottish Government website.

2. No subsistence costs were incurred by the First Minister.

3. The trip lasted 6 days including travel.

4. The First Minister's husband did not accompany her on the visit.
