Financial redress for survivors of child abuse in care: frequently asked questions

A series of papers to help answer common questions arising about elements of the Redress Bill.

The Bill seeks to create a redress scheme that is fair and transparent to survivors in both its processes and its outcomes. The Bill will establish Redress Scotland, a new organisation independent of Government, to make decisions on redress applications.
