Glen Sannox – deployment/warranty updates
Vessel performance updates
Vessel has been in operation since 13 January, over 3 weeks. No sailings have been lost due to technical issues. Other technical issues have been identified and are being managed in the background between CalMac, CMAL and FMPG, none of those will cause issues with services.
Post delivery works
CMAL have agreement with CalMac for the vessel to come out of service at the end of February for 6 days to carry out the conditions of class among other critical items, including the gypsy, anchor and crane permanent solutions. CalMac and TS agreed to discuss offline fleet cover while the vessel is out of service.
Warranty items/process update
SG requested an update on the running costs of warranty items from FMPG.
Finance
SG requested confirmation that all items are correctly listed under post-delivery works and warranty for costing purposes.
AOB
CalMac have received positive feedback on the vessel operating in service. CalMac agreed to reach out to their customer service to share feedback.
CMAL have received feedback on the lack of gaelic signage onboard. CalMac noted this for future changes onboard and for other vessels within the fleet.
FMPG have discussed and provided an overview to CalMac on the process for raising warranty items.
Glen Rosa – delivery and deployment
GR delivery programme update
The mezzanine decks were shipped last week, this was postponed due to the storm.
FMPG have produced detailed plans of works for the next 12 weeks.
First meeting to agree lessons learned approach has occurred within FMPG. FMPG are currently agreeing champions who will lead on each area of the exercise. The outcomes of the exercise will be included within the detailed plans at the appropriate stage.
FMPG have confirmed the plans developed align with the number of staff that should be onboard carrying out essential works in critical areas.
CMAL suggested the list of non-conformities from Glen Sannox be reviewed. FMPG agreed to pick this up.

Once the updated plans for Glen Rosa have been approved, CalMac agreed to discuss their recruitment plan for crew with CMAL.
The group were made aware of SG and FMPG’s Finance and Public Administration Committee (FPAC) appearance scheduled for 5 February.
