Items and actions

Minute of meeting

Handover of MV Glen Sannox was completed last week. With contracts and documentation updated, this provides an opportunity to learn lessons in advance of MV Glen Rosa handover.

CalMac updated that the vessel was out for an LNG dry bunkering today and a live one tomorrow. Positive feedback received from the crew since handover.

Items on the vessel were identified as post-handover work. CMAL requested for a plan to be developed from FMPG on how these items are to be actioned, in particular, during recertification period. A defect was raised for one of the generators to be powered. An engineer is due tomorrow to look in to this. FMPG agreed to take away and send round the group when the plan will be received.

Internal discussions are ongoing within the FMPG production team to decide who the main point of contact is to deal with the post-handover work and direct the crew.

SG requested sight of a plan of where the vessel will be located. CalMac are leading and update regularly.

CMAL asked for a weekly update from FMPG on procurement regarding, capstones, drum ends, fire hydrants, float tank sensor and actuator.

SG advised FMPG to continue to monitor costs of items and the funds available. Post handover work and warranty items should be marked under those individual categories. FMPG have created new work codes and are separated between completion work and warranty.

Post completion and warranty work being raised are following the process agreed between, CalMac, CMAL and FMPG. SG requested that approvals for funds on the works be saved.

FMPG to provide a timeline to SG for anchor permanent solution and when the vessel is expected to be out of service.

Lessons learned exercise for 801 is currently being developed with SG and FMPG. CMAL and CalMac experiences will be included.

SG are liaising with CalMac on operational readiness and a programme timeline.
