Equally Safe delivery plan: progress report
Outlines progress made against key deliverables in the summer 2024 to spring 2026 delivery plan, highlighting the steps being taken by a range of partner organisations to prevent violence against women and girls and drive lasting change across Scotland.
Introduction
Our Equally Safe strategy sets out a vision for a strong and flourishing Scotland where everyone is equally safe, and where women and girls live free from all forms of violence and abuse.
To support the delivery of this vision, the Scottish Government and COSLA published a new Equally Safe Delivery Plan in August 2024. The plan sets out the 14 deliverables and 57 actions that partners across Scotland have committed to progressing between summer 2024 and spring 2026.
In order to monitor and evaluate progress against these deliverables, partners responsible for specific actions co-ordinated bi-annual updates to support ongoing oversight. This report draws on those contributions, highlighting key insights into the work undertaken so far and many of the achievements to date. Overall, it demonstrates the meaningful steps being taken to drive forward progress to tackle violence against women and girls in Scotland.
