Equally Safe delivery plan: progress report

Outlines progress made against key deliverables in the summer 2024 to spring 2026 delivery plan, highlighting the steps being taken by a range of partner organisations to prevent violence against women and girls and drive lasting change across Scotland.

Foreword

We are very pleased to present this Equally Safe Delivery Plan Progress Report, which outlines the tangible steps being taken against the actions set out in the current delivery plan. It shows that real and meaningful progress is being made to realise our shared ambitions of a Scotland free from violence against women and girls.

The report reflects not only the work of the Scottish Government and COSLA but also partners across the public and third sectors across Scotland. The commitment, expertise, and dedication of all partners is essential, as only our collective efforts will deliver the change we require.

We are particularly pleased that, in addition to reporting on progress, this report includes case studies and personal reflections from those involved, which bring to life the real and significant impact being made under the delivery plan.

At the same time, we recognise that continued focus, collaboration, and commitment will be essential as we build on this progress and continue to move towards achieving the full ambition of Equally Safe: a Scotland free from violence against women and girls.
