Title of policy: The Draft Scottish Learning and Improvement Framework for Adult Social Care Support and Community Health (SLIF)

Summary of aims and desired outcomes of Policy:

The draft Scottish Learning and Improvement Framework (SLIF) sets out the overarching vision and priorities in Adult Social Care Support, Social Work, and Community Health that have been agreed across the health and social care sector. It provides an approach which further builds improvement and quality management into the system, encouraging the capture of learning and working towards the outcomes that matter to people.

It will support a move from a predominant focus on scrutiny and reporting, to an approach which further builds improvement and quality management into the system.

The SLIF has been co-developed around the National Performance Framework, PANEL Principles and the Health and Social Care Standards: my support, my life.
