Schools - risk assessment guidance: equality impact assessment
Equality impact assessment for risk assessment guidance on fostering a positive, inclusive and safe environment and violent, aggressive and dangerous behaviour.
Recommendations and Conclusion
In conclusion, the impact assessment did not identify any further actions or amendments to the approach required to the guidance documents.
However, it was noted that evidence in relation to young people’s views was limited and therefore this should be strengthened in future. This has been taken into account in the work to establish the next round of research as part of the time series.
The next round of research will form the formal monitoring activity for the implementation of these guidance documents, in addition to ongoing consideration with the Scottish Advisory Group for Relationships and Behaviour.
