Recommendations and Conclusion

The IWWC publication in isolation will not impact protected characteristics in a positive or negative way. However, individual interventions, developed under IWWC, may have an impact.

In response to the findings of this EQIA. further and separate EQIA will be undertaken in respect of individual interventions/ policies which support the wider aims of IWWC.

Progress on actions and any updates to equality risks will be reported through the appropriate governance structures and shared with stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability. At present, oversight of IWWC and the interventions developed under it rests with the Scottish Government’s Culture Pay and Partnership Division.
