Road Transport Energy Consumption

Latest road transport energy consumption figures (figure 6) show that total energy consumption in 2021 increased by 19.1% from 2020 but remains below 2019 (6.9% decrease), before the most stringent lockdown restrictions were in place during the COVID-19 pandemic.
