The Reason for the Mainstreaming Action Plan
In December 2025 the Scottish Government published a Mainstreaming Strategy. This sets out its vision for mainstreaming equality and human rights across Scotland.
This Mainstreaming Action Plan sets out all the actions the Government is planning to take. This will make it clearer to people how we make and deliver decisions.
This Action Plan focuses on the actions the Scottish Government is taking. We hope this sets a good example to other organisations.
The Action Plan aims to show how a mainstreaming equality can make Scotland better.
