9. Definition of Partner or Ex-Partner of the Abusive Tenant
9.1 Partner or ex-partner of the abusive tenant means[10]—
(i) the spouse or civil partner of the abusive tenant,
(ii) a former spouse or former civil partner of the abusive tenant,
(iii) a person who has been living with the abusive tenant as if a spouse of the tenant for at least 6 of the preceding 12 months prior to action under section 14(1) of the 2001 Act being raised. The 6 month period can include more than one period so long as they total at least 6 months.
