The Forum was a chance for disabled people to work with the government to make new policies.
In this document policies mean plans for what the government wants to do.
The Forum is part of Scotland's Disability Equality Plan.
The plan wants to make equality in Scotland better.
Equality means that everyone:
- have the same rights
- have the same opportunities
- are treated fairly
Disabled people should use their lived experience to help the government make decisions from the start.
In this document lived experience means your own experience of living with a disability.
