Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
Information requested
Any correspondence (letters, emails, notes, minutes of meetings, discussions or otherwise) between senior civil servants, special advisers, or the First Minister on the topic of domestic abuse between 30 March 2022 and the present day.
Response
I attach an email chain with some of the information you requested. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because exemptions under sections s.38(1)(b) of FOISA apply to that information. This exemption means the personal data, the disclosure of which would contravene data protection principles, is redacted. Personal data includes all information that relates to an individual, and includes identifiers such as name, address, and date of birth.
