Information requested

All correspondence between the Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs and the Mull and Iona Ferry Committee since May 1 2021 until the present date.

A copy of all of the information you requested has been attached.

An exemption under section 38(1)(b) of FOISA applies to all of the information you have requested. This exemption applies to the disclosure of third party personal data. In this instance, that relates to names and email addresses of third parties. Disclosing this information into the public domain may contravene Article 5(1) of the UK GDPR, that personal data shall be processed lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner in relation to the data subject.

This exemption is not subject to the 'public interest test', so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption.
