Answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) on COVID-19 vaccinations for health and social care professionals.

There have been changes to the COVID-19 vaccination programme in 2023 and vaccination is no longer available all year round. As per advice from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) COVID-19 vaccination is moving, over the course of 2023, towards a more targeted offer during seasonal vaccination campaigns to protect those at higher risk of severe COVID-19. Additional doses of the COVID-19 vaccine may be offered to health and social care workers later this year, in line with future JCVI advice.
