On 30 November 2020 the First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced a one-off pro rata payment for Scotland’s lifesavers and care-givers on the frontline throughout the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Scottish Ministers have issued information as questions and answers.

This is Scottish Government guidance for local authorities who employ eligible staff as defined in the eligibility section of this guidance.
Separate guidance is available for third, voluntary, charitable and private sector providers. Separate guidance will also be issued for payments to Personal Assistants.
