Food delivery services
Information on delivery service options offered by the larger supermarkets. There may also be local businesses that offer delivery services in your area. These are not recommendations. If using a delivery service you should decide if the supplier is suitable for your needs and check to see if they deliver in your area.
Charges listed below are correct at the time of publishing but may vary.
Online deliveries
Most of the larger supermarkets now offer the option to shop and pay for your groceries online, and have your groceries delivered to you or a location of your choice.

Drivers are no longer able to bring groceries inside your house because of physical distancing rules. They will leave your groceries outside your door. If this will cause you difficulties, please contact the supermarket and let them know. Contact details for the major supermarkets are below.
Click and collect
Many supermarkets offer a click and collect service. You shop online and collect them from the store. See below for more details on the different click and collect services available.

In-store home deliveries
This is for you if you like to shop in person but struggle to get your shopping home. These supermarkets will deliver your groceries to your door after you have bought them in the store.

Ordering deliveries by phone
Two supermarkets, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s, offer the option to order groceries by phone.
To place an order with Morrisons, phone 0345 611 6111 and select option 5. Morrisons will deliver groceries from a menu of 47 essential items.
Details of how to place an order by phone with Sainsbury’s will be sent to you by email if you choose to register with them for priority access. Alternatively, you can contact the National Helpline which will provide you with details of Sainsbury’s priority line for customers. Call on 0800 111 4000 (Monday–Friday, office hours).
