Testing in Scotland
Free COVID-19 testing has ended for most people in Scotland.
If you have symptoms of COVID-19 you should try to stay at home and avoid contact with others until you feel better.
Testing is only available for specific groups to protect high-risk settings, support clinical care and for surveillance.
You can still access testing if:
- you have a health condition which means you’re eligible for new coronavirus treatments
- you work in NHS health or social care in a face to face role with patients and service users
Detailed information can be found at NHS Inform.
