Coronavirus (COVID-19): culture and creative sector support
Social enterprises, charities and third sector

Social enterprises, charities and third sector

Third sector organisations who need assistance to manage and stabilise cash flow problems resulting directly from the COVID-19 pandemic may be eligible to apply to the Third Sector Resilience Fund. To be eligible, interested organisations must be:

  • a charity, social enterprise or voluntary organisation based in Scotland and/or primarily delivering services/activities in Scottish communities
  • already delivering those products or services prior to March 2020
  • and needing funding to stabilise cashflows directly as a result of the impact of COVID-19, as opposed to pre-existing financial difficulties

This support is being delivered on the Scottish Government’s behalf by Firstport, Social Investment Scotland and The Corra Foundation. It provides for grants of £5,000 to £100,000 and interest-free loans starting from £50,000.

An eligibility checker and further information on how to apply can be found on the SCVO website, alongside wider information for third sector organisations on the SCVO Coronavirus Third Sector Information Hub.
