Coronavirus (COVID-19): cultural performances and events guidance
Overview

Overview

With the arrival of the new Omicron variant, cultural and events organisations should strengthen compliance with current protection measures and make an extra effort to do so from now through the festive period and beyond.

Continued collective effort and commitment, particularly in sticking to the rules and guidance in place, will be a critical part of our response to the challenging winter ahead.

This guidance is for all cultural and events organisations and provides advice on measures that you should take to reduce risk and create a safe environment for customers and staff.

We have worked closely with the sector throughout the pandemic, and will continue to do so to understand what support is required to aid short-term recovery. We will work with the sector to develop and set out our vision for the long-term, sustainable future of the sector and to help it play a key role in how Scotland recovers from the pandemic.
