If you left the professional register within the last three years as a Registered Nurse, Midwife, paramedic, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, diagnostic or therapeutic radiographer, biomedical scientist, pharmacist or pharmacy technician or as a medical practitioner you should soon be receiving a letter from your previous professional regulator that explains you have been placed on a temporary register and can now participate in helping with the care of patients during the present emergency.
If you are a practitioner and are fully registered, but not currently working in NHS Scotland, you can participate too.
You will be paid and will be part of a supervised team.
If you are in one of these categories and wish to participate please call 0141 278 2719 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. If you email please title your email 'COVID19 re-registration' and include in your email your name, professional group, normal place of residence and a contact telephone number.
More information is in the questions and answers page.
If you are a student in one of these practice areas your university will be in contact with you soon.
