4. Analytical approach

4.1 The analysis is structured question by question, reflecting the format of the public consultation questionnaire. It summarises the range of views expressed in the responses to the public consultation.

4.2 Some respondents answered only selected questions. Where counts are used, they relate to the number of responses to each question submitted using the Citizen Space platform.

4.6 Two respondents provided their entire response as open text which was not specifically structured to the specific questions raised in the consultation. Although the content of these answers has been interpreted and considered in the consultation analysis, these have not been counted within the quantitative breakdown relating to questions 1, 2 and 3. This is because the respondents did not provide explicit answers that could be consistently recorded for these questions. However, for the purposes of this report, the substantive points raised within these responses have been reflected in the qualitative analysis under question 3 and in the overall findings where appropriate. Question 3 was an open question which, amongst other things, provided an opportunity for respondents to make any other comments in relation to the matters raised by this consultation.
