Engagement approach

Internal SG engagement/ engagement with wider Public Sector

Internal SG engagement

Internal engagement with teams covering Consumer issues, Fuel Poverty, and renewables generators is ongoing and will continue during the consultation period.

UK/ Devolved Administrations

We have ongoing engagement with UK Government and the Northern Ireland Executive for the proposed changes to their respective RO schemes.

Wider Public Sector

No wider public sector engagement is expected.

International

No international engagement is expected.

Business / Third Sector engagement

We will engage with renewables generators and energy companies during the consultation period.

Public consultation

SG will be participating in a public consultation in collaboration with both the Northern Ireland Executive and UK Government, to seek the views of generators in receipt of support via the ROS scheme, and any bodies who represent them. We are also interested to hear from consumers and groups that represent their interests.

Other stakeholders

We intend to seek views from Consumer Scotland. All stakeholders are invited to respond to the public consultation.
