Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund for Adults: impact report - year 2 2022-2023
This report reflects on information provided by 344 projects funded through the Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund for Adults in year 2.
Methods
The Scottish Government requested that TSIs gather evidence on the impacts of Year 2 projects. A set of standard evaluation questions was developed collaboratively with Blake Stevenson, the Research Advisory Group for the Year 1 independent evaluation of the Fund and the TSI National Network. These evaluation questions were shared with TSIs in the National Fund guidance to be completed by projects by March 2024.
The questions to be addressed were:
- What we were expected to do and what we actually did (max 250 words). Please outline activities undertaken, specifically against the original plan, including details of the number of activities, number of participants benefitting and who the main beneficiaries were.
- Please let us know of any achievements to date that you are particularly proud of, or that demonstrate the difference made to individuals (max 250 words). If you wish to include testimonials or quotes, please use this space.
- Please tell us how you achieved each of your proposed .outcomes. The outcomes your project should have delivered against were in your funding agreement and you must use these outcomes as described.
- The outcome:
- What methods were used to gather evidence:
- Did you achieve the outcome? What are the indicators that demonstrate success?
- Challenges/changes (max 100 words). Any problems you encountered that slowed progress, stopped the outcomes happening or things that were changed.
Following these questions TSIs were approached again to ask for any additional information held on the impact of projects and the numbers they reached. This additional data has been included in the overall findings.
