Climate Engagement Fund
Fund to help build people’s understanding of the climate emergency, how it relates to their lives and how they can take action. The fund is currently open to applications.
Integration with existing climate initiatives
Strong applications will demonstrate awareness of, and connections to, Scotland's wider climate engagement landscape.
We are looking for projects that:
- complement rather than duplicate existing initiatives
- connect with broader Scottish Government climate action
You should show awareness of existing Scottish climate initiatives such as:
- Community Climate Action Hubs
- Just Transition Fund
- Public Engagement Strategy for Climate Change
Existing climate engagement activities
Your project will join an established portfolio including:
- Regional Climate Action Hubs network
- Climate Action Schools framework
- Net Zero Nation website and Let's Do Net Zero campaign
- Scotland's Climate Week annual events
- Carbon Neutral Islands project supporting six islands to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040
