Cladding Remediation Programme: Next Phase Plan of Action
This August 2025 update on cladding remediation details next phase of delivery, focusing on acceleration, mitigation and remediation pathways. Progress made to date, actions and milestones through to March 2026, and long-term targets are all detailed in this update.
5. Budget and Financial Planning
For the 2025/26 financial year, the Scottish Government has allocated £46.7 million in capital funding to support the Cladding Remediation Programme. Approximately 80% of this has already been allocated, reflecting the pace of demand and early activity.
Funding is currently allocated as follows:
- £20 million for Single Building Assessments (SOC Stage One).
- £10 million for mitigation measures, primarily fire alarm systems.
- The remaining balance will support early remediation action.
Financial performance will be monitored closely and continue to be published on a quarterly basis, with the latest information published here.
