What changes, if any, will be made to the proposal as a result of the assessment? Why are these changes being made and what are the expected outcomes?

No

If no changes are proposed, please explain why.

No changes have been made to the provisions of the Bill at introduction based on the impact assessment carried out. The provisions in question have been instructed with the aim of reducing inequalities faced by care experienced people and therefore do not require changes at this point.

While no changes have been made as yet, should further engagement with the care experienced community or any other stakeholders reveal further inequalities that would be exacerbated by the Bill or could indeed be rectified, Scottish Government will endeavor to address these in a timely fashion.

This assessment will be reviewed at each stage of the Bills development and updated as necessary.
