Planning for the review of impact on children’s rights and wellbeing
The impact of the revised School Transport Guidance on children’s rights and wellbeing will be monitored through:
We will continue to monitor the implementation of the guidance through a range of engagement methods. This includes reviewing correspondence from the public, engaging with key stakeholders, and monitoring media coverage to assess the ongoing impact. These approaches will help us understand how the guidance is being applied in practice and identify any merging areas where further clarification or changes may be necessary.
Feedback from stakeholders, including parent organisations and LA representative bodies such as COSLA, ATCO, and ADES, to identify any emerging issues or unintended consequences.
The CRWIA will be reviewed and updated if there are significant changes to school transport policy, legislation, or funding that could materially affect children’s rights.
