Business and Regulatory Impact Assessment for Scotland's Trafficking and Exploitation Strategy 2025

Introduction

This Business and Regulatory Impact Assessment (BRIA) relates to Scotland’s second Trafficking and Exploitation Strategy under the Human Trafficking and Exploitation (Scotland) Act 2015 published in July 2025. A partial BRIA was published alongside the Strategy. This final BRIA builds upon the partial BRIA after further business engagement was undertaken.
