Turnover
In Wave 91 businesses were asked how their turnover compared with the previous calendar month.
Figure 4: In Wave 91, 30.9% of businesses reported that their turnover had increased in August 2023 compared to July 2023 - rising to 40.0% of businesses in the Information & Communication industry sector and 37.6% in the Manufacturing industry sector. Overall, an estimated 17.7% of businesses reported that their turnover had decreased over this period.
