Business Concerns

In Wave 73, the BICS asked businesses about their main concerns in February 2023.

Business concern question: Which of the following, if any, will be the main concern for your business in February 2023?

Note that in Wave 72 the response option "Falling demand of goods and services" was added, and the response option "Competition" was updated to include specific reference to other UK businesses.

Figure 2: The main concerns for businesses for February 2023 were energy prices (32.4%) and inflation of goods and services prices (21.0%).
