Access to Goods, Services and Materials

An estimated 71.9% of applicable businesses who had not permanently stopped trading reported being able to access the materials, goods or services they needed from within the UK in July 2022, which is lower than in May 2022 (76.0% in Wave 58). A further estimated 22.6% had to change suppliers or find alternative solutions in order to get the materials, goods or services they needed from the UK and only 5.5% reported being unable to get them.

For access to goods, materials and services from the EU in July 2022, of businesses not permanently stopped trading an estimated 73.6% of businesses were able to get what they needed. A further 22.2% were still able to but had to change supplier or find alternative solutions and 4.1% were not able to get them.
