Declaration of end of surveillance zone
On 4 November 2021 the Scottish Ministers declared, under article 26(1) of the Avian Influenza and Influenza of Avian Origin in Mammals (Scotland) Order 2006 (“the Order”) with immediate effect, a Protection Zone and Surveillance Zone. In addition, the Scottish Ministers declared, in accordance with article 8 of the Avian Influenza (H5N1 in Poultry) (Scotland) Order 2007, a Restricted Zone under article 26(5) of the Order.
On 26 November 2021 the Scottish Ministers declared, under article 34(1) of the Order, the end of the Protection Zone and the revocation of the Restricted Zone.
At least 30 days have elapsed since the completion at all infected premises within the Zones declared of the preliminary cleansing and disinfection measures referred to in Part 2 of schedule 3 of the Order.
The Scottish Ministers declare, under article 34(3) of the Order, the end of the Surveillance Zone described in Annex 3 to the Declaration of 4 November 2021.
The Declaration of Infected Premises, Protection Zone, Surveillance Zone, Restricted Zone and Revocation of Temporary Control Zones made by Scottish Ministers on 4 November 2021 and the Declaration of End of Protection Zone and Revocation of Restricted Zone made by Scottish Ministers on 26 November 2021 are revoked.
This Declaration has effect from the time and date on which it is made.
